End User License Agreement (EULA)

Last updated: 18 July 2026

1. Scope

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs the use of the Domicilia application (the "App"), developed and operated by Nelson Alexandre da Silva Lima, operating under the Domicilia brand (the "Licensor"). The App is licensed, not sold. By installing or using the App you accept this EULA in full.

2. License Grant

You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for domestic-work management. You may not: (a) copy, modify or distribute the App; (b) reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code; (c) rent, sublicense or resell the App; (d) use it for unlawful purposes.

3. Account, Subscriptions and Payment

Some features require an account and a paid subscription. Prices, periods and plan features are shown in the App before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the app store or in the billing portal. You may delete your account at any time inside the App (Profile → Delete Account); deletion becomes effective 30 days after the request, during which you can cancel it by signing in.

4. Personal Data and Content

The data you enter (contracts, work records, remuneration) belongs to you. Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy. Certain labor and tax records are kept in anonymized form after account deletion, as required by Portuguese law (Art. 17(3)(b) GDPR).

5. Nature of the Tool

The App is a support tool for managing domestic work (salary and social-security calculations, records and documents). It does not constitute legal, tax or accounting advice. Compliance with legal obligations towards workers, Social Security and the Tax Authority remains your responsibility. Calculations follow Portuguese legislation in force as indicated in the App.

6. Maintenance and Support

Support is provided by the Licensor through the in-app support ticket system (Profile → Support). Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support for the App.

7. Warranty and Liability

The App is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, users who obtained it on the App Store may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. The Licensor's liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it, without prejudice to consumer rights under Portuguese law and to liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Claims and Third Parties

Any claim relating to the App (including product liability, legal compliance or consumer protection) shall be addressed to the Licensor, not to Apple or Google. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, the Licensor — not Apple — is responsible for the investigation, defence and resolution. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you. Use of the App is also subject to the terms of the app store where you obtained it.

9. Legal Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

10. Intellectual Property, Changes and Governing Law

The App, brand and content are the property of the Licensor. This EULA may be updated; changes will be communicated in the App or on this page. This EULA is governed by Portuguese law; competent forum: Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
