Nelson Lima
Founder of Domicilia
Software engineer, educated at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of NOVA University Lisbon. Spent more than a decade in consulting and telecommunications, the last years at Nokia, in Lisbon.
Founded Domicilia in 2026. The idea came from inside his own home: he realised that people employing someone in Portugal still handle contracts, salaries and Social Security filings by hand, month after month, and that all of that work was repeatable. He built the app to do it automatically.
He writes the guides on this site and programs the calculation engine behind them: the rules the numbers follow are the same ones he implemented in the app.
